The Closing of Capricho

We'll be honest, this is a difficult post for us to write but sadly it's true: Capricho is closing down.

It has been quite a ride over the last five years. We've poured our heart and soul into our small business, but for a variety of reasons we can no longer continue.

We are very grateful for the amazing experience, for all we have learnt and for all the wonderful people we have met along the way.

Update 13/05/2020 COVID-19 :

Like so many of you our plans have been disrupted by COVID-19. We lost the final month and a bit of our Takapuna store lease and as a result we still have stock to clear. This means that our closing down SALE will continue on our website until all stocks are gone.

Please be assured that we are following the Government’s COVID-19 safe operating requirements. All products are now held at our Millwater location and will only be handled / packed by Javier and I. And all orders will be shipped or made available for collection in a contactless way.

Shipped Orders :
Orders will be sent using Courier Post contactless delivery, no signature will be taken. Therefore please ensure that you have your order sent to a location where someone will be home to receive it. Neither Capricho nor Courier Post can be responsible for items going missing once they have been delivered.

Safe Handling :
We recommend that you safely remove and dispose of all packing materials from your order prior to handling your items. Or if you prefer, leave your order in its packing in a safe/dry place for at least 24 hours before handling.

Click & Collect :
If you live locally and wish to collect from our Millwater location we can organise contactless collection of your order. Just choose Millwater Collect as your shipping option and we will be in touch to organise your collection.

Large / fragile items :
Large and fragile items continue to require a seperate shipping quote prior to finalising your order.

Returns or Exchanges :
We are confident that you will love your purchases, however as we are now trading online only our flexible returns policy will apply to any items purchased.
