Welcome to the WOUD Universe

WOUD is a Danish design brand led by Mia and Torben Koed.  After 30 years of working in the production of private label furniture, they felt it was time for a new challenge. And so in 2014, WOUD was born.

WOUD collaborates with established and up-and-coming designers from around the world to create products that are innovative, functional and beautiful. Timeless design that remains true to the simplicity and quality anchored in WOUD's Scandinavian design tradition.

Since those early days, WOUD has created a whole WOUD Universe of innovative products, from dining chairs to wall hooks, planters to mirrors, unique storage solutions and clever lighting.

At Capricho we are delighted to be able to offer a wide range of WOUD products in store and online, as well as access to pre-order any product from the full WOUD catalogue.

Capricho Now Open in Takapuna! 

We are delighted to have opened our first permanent brick and mortar store in the beautiful seaside suburb of Takapuna.  You can find us at 106 Hurstmere Road and we are open Tuesday to Sunday.

We've deliberately kept the aesthetic of the store simple, with lots of natural light, blonde wood and a cool grey and white colour scheme - the perfect backdrop for showcasing our products.

In store you will find all the luxury bed, bath and kitchen linens from Portugal that you are used to seeing from Capricho, as well as a raft of new brands and product ranges.

With the new store we've significantly expanded our product range to include a complimentary edit of high-quality Homewares, Furniture, Lighting and Lifestyle products from around the world.

We believe that good design should be beautiful, functional and have longevity. And so, as we have done with our linens, for our new ranges we've chosen brands who also take this approach.

We are excited about this new phase for Capricho and we look forward to welcoming you in store in Takapuna one day soon!

Capricho PopUp @Village Depot, Silverdale Village

They say that all good things must come to an end and so it is that our PopUp store in the Village Depot in Silverdale Village, will be ending on 29th Jan 2017.

We have had a fabulous time, learnt a lot, met lots of lovely people and have been genuinely overwhelmed by all the kind support during our time in the village.

We are actively looking for a permanent bricks and mortar location to call our own, but while the hunt continues our products will always be available on our website.

The good news is that if you live locally to Silverdale, you will still be able to collect your online purchases from the Village Depot at no cost.  Simply choose "Village Depot" as your shipping option at the checkout.  We will then bag up your purchases and leave them with the lovely folk of Jones Dept in the Village Depot for you to collect at your leisure!  Otherwise we continue to ship online purchases NZ wide.
